Its small scale makes SILVERTON bluemat penstemon an excellent candidate for rock gardens or smaller xeriscape gardens. It combines well with other western native selections such as KANNAH CREEK buckwheat, Smoky Hills skullcap, Gold on Blue prairie zinnia, and baby blue rabbitbrush. Attracts bees, particularly native bees, and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
